Why UK holders pick CryptoLens

Most crypto trackers are built for a US audience: USD prices, IRS tax rules, dollar-first everything. Swapping to GBP is hacky and the tax export — if it exists — doesn't match HMRC's Section 104 pool rules or the UK's £3,000 annual allowance. CryptoLens is UK-first. Prices show in GBP by default. Free saves 1 wallet for scanning and basic analytics. Pro (£4.99/mo) adds tax exports, 50 saved wallets, full transaction history, price alerts and the Telegram bot. Developer (£19.99/mo, 100 wallets) and Business (£49.99/mo, 500 wallets + accountant tools) tiers add API access with higher rate limits and more API keys.

Which wallets work?▾

Any Bitcoin, XRP, Litecoin, Dogecoin, Cardano, Polkadot, Solana, Cosmos, Stellar, Tron, Algorand, Tezos, NEAR, Hedera, Sui, Aptos or EVM address (29 chains total — 16 non-EVM plus 13 EVM including the major L2s). We read public on-chain data, so no wallet connection is required. Coinbase, Binance, Kraken exchange balances must be moved to a self-custody wallet to be tracked.

Is my data private?▾

Yes. We never ask for your seed phrase or private keys. The leaderboard is strictly opt-in — you choose which wallets (if any) to publicly associate with your account. We store the minimum needed to run the service and never sell data.

How accurate is the UK tax calculation?▾

It applies HMRC's rules as published: same-day matching, 30-day bed-and-breakfast matching, then Section 104 pool with averaged cost basis. The £3,000 annual allowance is applied automatically for 2025/26 and 2026/27. You should still sanity-check with an accountant before filing.

What's the HODL benchmark?▾

For each wallet, we compute what your portfolio would be worth today if you had never sold anything after your first buy. It's a clean comparison against your actual current value, so you can see the real cost of active trading.
